• In this tutorial we will be controlling the publish_up and publish_down settings for content. This let's you change when content is viewable.
• Click on Content Items Manager
• Edit the item Welcome to Joomla!
• Let's start by selecting the Start Publishing date. This is the date that Joomla will begin showing the content item.
• Let's Save
• You can now see the item is Published, but is Pending. There is a guide at the bottom of the screen to help you know what state it's in.
