• In this tutorial we will be adding a new category to our store
• Navigate to Products >> Add Category
• Choose if you want your category published
• Then enter a name
• Then enter a description for the category
• You can choose a parent category
• You can change the template page for the category
• You can change the number of products to show per row in the category overview page
• You can create a default flypage for the category as well
• Let's go to the Images page
• You can upload an image for the category. VirtueMart can also create the thumbnail for you automatically
• SSave the category
• Your new category has been created and you can now enter products under it
